We have been very busy working in the house. In February and March we moved our home office down the hall and completely re-did the room including paint, lighting, added a flat screen TV, closet organizer and a new desk for me. This was a fun project and one Chris and I really enjoyed working on together. We really enjoy working from home now and seem to find ourselves spending most of our time in the new office. Now what to do with the old office...
In April we gave our hot tub to Phil and Bianca. Phil has really been wanting it and we decided it was not something we really wanted to have anymore. It came with the house, was broken and we found we saved a ton of money over the winter by having it turned off. Phil and Bianca are enjoying the hot tub and in turn helping us build stairs and railings on the deck to fill them empty space. They are coming along great and we really appreciate having stairs there now.
January, 2010
I can't believe it is January and the holidays have come and gone. We did something a little different this year. My parents and Bandit came up Christmas Eve and stayed over. I made dinner Christmas Eve and a special breakfast on Christmas morning after we opened presents. It was the first time we celebrated Christmas morning in our own house. It was so much fun. Then my parents left for home and Chris and I left for the Cape. We spent the weekend at the Cape. It was so nice to see both families this year. Chris and I love to decorate for Christmas and this year we added outside lights to our decorations. Below are some pics of the outside lights...
November, 2009
On November 24th we celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary. We started a tradition last year by taking our anniversary off from work to spend the day together. This year we started our anniversary date off by going to Patriot's Place to the De Lux Showcase Cinema to see "New Moon." The theater was amazing and so much fun and the movie was AWESOME. We then did some shopping around Patriot's Place. The next stop was the Wrentham Premium outlets to begin our Christmas shopping and then dinner at Samba. This is a great restaurant which is right around the corner from our house. Then if you can believe it - we went to see "New Moon" again at the AMC Theater in Framingham. I really wanted to see the movie again and Chris suggested we see it again after dinner. It was so much fun and I am so thankful to have such a great husband!

We spider webbed the whole front porch and it was a very windy night, Chris captured this picture of the webs flying above the pumpkins - very cool!!!!!
I guess I am behind in my postings because the outside is now decorated for Christmas. I will post pictures shortly to share. Chris and I both love Christmas and really go all out to decorate!
Summer
What a summer it has been. Our latest project has been painting the outside of the house. This project we decided was far too much for us to handle at this point in time so we hired painters. They have been doing a great job. The only issue we have had is the rain for what feels like the past three months. Here are a few pictures of the house freshly painted...
